Creosote to Present at 74th Annual MSACROA Meeting
Frederick, MD
July 8, 2004

Creosote Affects, LLC, recently has been chosen to present at a prestigious meeting of college and university admissions professionals later this year.

From more than 200 applicants, the Creosote Team was selected to present a roundtable discussion at the Middle States Association of Collegiate Registrars and Officers of Admission (MSACROA) Conference in Atlantic City this fall.

The presentation, held in cooperation with Lori Drega, director of graduate admissions, at Hood College, is titled "Understanding the Characteristics of the Millennial Generation." The one-hour session will focus on the extremely competitive environment of higher education marketing. The roundtable will attempt to foster a better understanding of the unique characteristics of today's collegebound youth, known collectively (and affectionately) as the "Millennial Generation," and to provide possible solutions to this new marketing challenge.

MSACROA is the oldest of the regional groups of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and has 1600 professional members, representing over 400 colleges and universities. The Association serves New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

This year's conference, to be held November 29 - December 2, 2004, focuses on celebrating the commitment to diversity. The purpose of MSACROA is to perpetuate, encourage, and expand the professional education development of its membership, to promote the exchange of ideas on educational problems, to advance the areas of admission, financial planning, institutional research, records and registration, and student services.
