Creosote Affects took home the night's most prestigious award -- best in show -- for its Creosote Affects eduResults Brochure. Creosote also took home two additional Silvers and one Gold ADDY Award at this year’s Greater Frederick County Advertising Federation competition.
“This piece was over a year in progress and truly represents an entire team effort.” said Rich Vallaster, one of the firm’s two principal partners. Joe Cliber, the other firm principal added, “We also want to thank Graphcom Inc. for producing and partnering with us on this incredible endeavor - they make us look good to our clients everyday.”
This also marks the second year in a row the Judge's recognized its recruitment publications developed for St. Mary’s
College
of
Maryland.
Each year the American Advertising Federation (AAF) sponsors the prominent ADDY awards ceremony, a competition that recognizes creative excellence in advertising. Advertisers, agencies, individuals and vendors enter their best work and compete for the area's top honors. More than 30 companies participated in this year's competition, which had 312 entries in 81 categories. The ADDY awards are the world’s largest advertising competition and receive over 60,000 entries annually. The ADDY’s competition is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry.
Creosote has also received national recognition this year by Admissions Marketing Report for its outstanding efforts in admissions recruitment for Georgetown University, St. Mary's College of Maryland, The Lowcountry Graduate Center and Capitol College.
