Creosote Affects, LLC was recently recognized for its outstanding marketing efforts by Admissions Marketing Report (AMR), a national non-profit education magazine. Creosote was honored with three awards for excellence in admissions recruitment.
This year’s competition accepted the largest number of entries in AMR’s 20-year historyreceiving more than 3,000 entries from colleges and universities in all fifty states and several foreign countries. Creosote competed against the top education agencies in the country as well as some of the most prestigious institutions in the nation.
Capturing three awards in its first year of participation is significant for the Emmitsburg-based firm that specializes in educational marketing. “We enter our work in several award competitions each year, but the AMR Awards are really important to us as we focus on furthering our efforts to deliver results for our the education market,” commented

Creosote’s winning entries included two publications for Georgetown University, Washington, DC: Culture, Communications, and Technology graduate recruitment series and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences 2005-06 catalog. The third award recognized Creosote’s work for Central Pennsylvania College, Harrisburg, PA, for its “Got Dreams?” undergraduate search effort.
