Creosote Receives National Recognition for Educational Marketing Efforts

Creosote Affects, LLC was recently recognized for its outstanding marketing efforts by Admissions Marketing Report (AMR), a national non-profit education magazine. Creosote was honored with four awards (one gold, two silvers and a merit) for excellence in admissions recruitment. 

Creosote’s winning entries included:

  • GOLD -Capitol College, Laurel MD: Insitutional Identity (in partnership with Ion Design)
  • SILVER - The Lowcountry Graduate Center, Charleston, SC: Recruitment Package
  • SILVER - St. Mary's College of MD, St. Mary's City, MD: Academic Piece
  • MERIT - Georgetown University - Center for Australian and New Zealand Studies, Washington, DC: Recruitment Brochure

The Admissions Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year over three thousand five hundred entries were received from more than one thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries. Creosote competed against the top education agencies in the country as well as some of the most prestigious institutions in the nation. 

Judges for the Admissions Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of admissions’ marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Admissions Marketing Report.

Each category is given only one gold, silver and bronze metal. Up to three merit awards may be issued in a category.

Admissions Marketing Report is the nation’s leading publication devoted to higher education admissions marketing.  The monthly publication reaches nearly 4,000 admissions marketers around the country and at international colleges and universities each month.
