To continue its mission and commitment to clients in the education field, Creosote Affects joined CASE (the Council for Advancement and Support of Education) as of July 1, 2004. CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, and development.

The judge's remarked: “Everyone produces materials covered by this category, but only a few truly stand out. Those that are successful combine good design, strong organization, compelling text, outstanding photography and a creative approach that is not too ambitious but also pushes the envelope, producing an engaging, well-executed and successful publication. CASE's membership includes more than 3,000 colleges, universities, and independent elementary and secondary schools in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and 42 other countries. This makes CASE the largest nonprofit education association in terms of institutional membership.
